Ribery renews his contract with Bayern Munich until 2017

The German club Bayern Munich renew the contract of striker Franck Ribery until June 2017 as 

the club announced on Thursday.

Ribery was 30-year-old arrived in Bayern in 2007 from Marseille, he has made in its ranks during the current season historic treble (League and Cup in Germany and the Champions League).

The French international said: "I am happy to stay at Bayern Munich. Already promised me that the club's supporters that I will stay here has been officially sign the contract now."

He added: "For me and my family Bayern has become a second home, I am confident that the team will reap more titles in the coming years."

The Bavarian club also announced a contract extension Belgian defender Daniel van Bautn for another season until June 2014.

He said club chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said: "We are delighted to continue the adventure with the key elements in the team. Both Frank and Daniel wonderful things over the past seasons and we rely on them so much and I always do well the difference."
